Pilling can occur with soft fabrics over time due to normal wear and surface friction. Activities like crawling on carpet or contact with other fabrics during wear or washing may contribute to pilling. Our original fabric is made from 97% rayon made from bamboo and 3% spandex, which is designed for a soft, comfortable feel. Because of its softness, some pilling may occur with regular use. Pilling does not affect the functionality or overall comfort of the item. Please note that pilling is considered normal wear and is not covered under our replacement policy. To help reduce pilling, we recommend washing in cold water on a gentle cycle with similar fabrics and hanging to dry. Washing items inside out may also help minimize friction, while sleep bags should be washed zipped up to help protect the interior quilting.
